Yogi Adityanath, aged 48, belongs to a kshatriya community (caste) of Uttar Pradesh. After primary and secondary education in Pauri and Rishikesh in Uttar Khand, he joined the Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garwal University & graduated with a BA degree in Mathematics in 1992. In mid 1990s he left his home to join the Ayodhya Ram Mandir movement. The then Mahanth (chief priest) of Gorak Nath Temple at Gorakpur, spotted him and took him as a disciple and groomed him. Yogi was first elected to Parliament as an MP from the State of Uttar Pradesh; Yogi was a prominent campaigner for the BJP in the 2017 assembly elections in the State of Uttar Pradesh; BJP’s then President and PM Narendra Modi of India spotted him. After BJP won a resounding victory in UP State Assembly in March 2017, Yogi Adityanath was appointed Chief Minister of the State of Uttar Pradesh, by BJP MLAs.

As CM of UP, his first task was to shutdown illegal slaughterhouses in UP that were there mostly to help export of beef outside India. He imposed a blanket ban on cow-smuggling in UP.

It has been alleged that the spouse of a prominent cabinet minister of UPA-2 was linked to illegal export of beef to neighboring countries (bordering India.)

Article 48 of the Constitution of India, is one of the Directive Principles which directs the State(s) to make efforts for banning Beef consumption, animal slaughtering, Smuggling, and their trading with neighbouring countries (bordering India.)

The said article of the Constitution of India further directs State(s) to organise Agriculture and Animal husbandry on modern and scientific lines with a view to minimize pain to animals slaughtered, particularly in illegal slaughterhouses.

Also, Yogi ordered the forming of anti-romeo squads to track down crime against women in the State of UP.

He also put a temporary stay on UPPSC exam results after learning about shady deals in which State Public Service Commission officers were involved in crimes in public education system in general and UPPSC exams in particular.

SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS IN UP STATE TO HELP ASSIST DURING MIGRANT MOVEMENT

CM, Yogi Adityanath gave instructions to Police Officers to make comprehensive arrangements for the safety of migrant labor into UP, from all over India, during the peak of migrant labor crises (not too long ago) in India.

His immediate action was to ask the Railway Ministry to arrange for special ‘Shramic-Trains’ to take back UP laborers from other States during the peak of the COVID virus related social and physical distancing that had made migrant labor jobless in many States of India. This was also the reason that special arrangements were made for the stay of women at Raksa border near Jhansi when the migrant laborers suddenly started arriving from the last week of April 2020. Apart from this, a temporary special hospital was also opened on the Raksa border to take care of the health of women.

CM, Yogi’s efforts on women’s safety was to make sure that no molestations or crimes against women took place during a record 38 lakh migrant labor into UP,  from other States of India, during the peak of the COVID virus related migrant labor crisis.

Formation of ‘Anti-Romeo Squads’, ‘Women Power Line-1090’, and ‘Women’s Helpline-181’ were all strengthened during the migrant labor crises.

Yogi also announced annual assistance of Rs. 6,000 for the rehabilitation of ‘triple-talaq’ divorces and abandoned women of the State of UP. His government arranged to provide free legal aid to all such women.

The ‘Lioness-Squad’ (Pic-1) flagged off from the Goraknath Temple campus on July-6, is the first phase (100 women police) of this scheme. This squad has been given scooters  fitted with GPS system, sirens, flash lights, public announcement system and pepper spray to combat miscreants during patrolling of violence prone areas.

For the first time, the UP State cleared the formation of Women PAC battalion in Gorakpur, Agra and Lucknow districts. Gorakpur Women’s PAC battalion (on motorbikes) has been given the responsibility of participating in the security arrangements in Azamgarh (a minority dominated notorious crime area, ) along with Varanasi and Gorakpur divisions.

Thanks for the suggestions Sureshji. Our plan is to reconstruct this site, once it gets its footing. At this moment it is constructed using WordPress Open source, so there are limitations in making tailor made changes. Plugins can be installed but it being an open source product, the spam ware makers hide their strings in the plugins. After having had the taste of it, we are being a little wary and let it be as it is for this week as in the next week, we will change the Host first and then get on with making the changes.

I can see all the pictures now. Though, Yogi is showing the green flag to the Lioness Squad but some people can see “Red” in that Green Flag too 🙂

Not only Rajdeep but even Arun Shourie, who is now among the front line critics of BJP is the owner of India Today was once the BJP man as was Yashwant Sinha. At times I get a feeling that many Lutyens including Shekhar Gupta would like to cross over, but Modi is not giving them any “Bhav” and they deserve that sort of ignore to know where they belong. Barkha Dutt I heard goes about in the border areas recording grievances of the people. These people were used to a lot of pampering and they thought they can sway the public opinion to make or break the governments but now they are sitting at the fence waiting for one glance of the Modi. So is it true of Yogi Aditya Nath. The main thing common between Yogi and Modi is that they both are Karm Yogis, that’s it. They work with sincerity. They don’t have any family to promote and nor do they have any interest in acquisition of material things. So, the opposition can cry itself hoarse but the polity can see this.

It should be the commitment to the job, that what should be the subject of discussion rather than the colour of his clothes. Frankly speaking, before he was picked up as the Chief Minister, I too thought that he was one of those Asa Ram type of crowd puller, but after seeing his work, after hearing about his views, I have been to forced to think that taking vows to lead a hermit’s life doesn’t mean one can’t serve the society. He takes his job as one such duty assigned to him. If you look in to the modus oprendai of spread of Christianity by sending people on missionary work ahead of others with an agenda of grabbing land, raging battles and winning over and the two working in tandem under the guise of spreading a new awakening and even calling a rebirth or the brutal ways if kidnapping, raping in to marriage in the name of spread of Islam- what he is doing is a true service to God the way it should be rendered by one. He doesn’t go around forcing people to convert to Hinduism, he doesn’t show any bias towards people belonging to other faiths, he just works as a true servant of God, much better than those Missionaries and Mullahs

Yogi is a real Karm Yogi I would say. I hope the business entrepreneurs can see this and those people who spread hatred on the basis of caste and religion will be left licking their wounds. But this far that’s what they have been doing. The wedge of hatred that they have driven in the society has been driven deep. He is not biased but, Muslims in India are skeptical. Keeping the land on both sides of the Expressway for inviting entrepreneurs for defense projects is in tune with the suggestion you had made for the Railway Projects. I hope the land acquisition process doesn’t run in to the legal wall. What India lacks is the dedicated people who genuinely want to do good for her.

The selection of the zone for the defense projects if they are in the pipeline is a very well thought one. Though U.P. too has it’s share of anti-nationals roaming around with Jihadi agendas but, it is much safer than J & K and Laddakh or Arunanchal Pradesh. 100% FDI may be a very good allurement for U.S. and who else? I think Israel may be the only other contender. Let’s see, if it fructifies. As of now, there doesn’t seem to be any replacement for Modi and Yogi, but you can never tell about the Indian polity that can get swayed by the money power.

Sureshji- It seems the site doesn’t allow the pictures posted on it to be posted elsewhere. Some roundabout way of copying them on Paint will have to be used. I went to the site location, but even the article seems to have been removed from there, it seems. I couldn’t find it for transporting the pictures myself.
He is a very focused man and fearless too. He is very determined and certainly impartial, though his de-trackers try to project him as a pro-hindu fanatic, taking advantage of his Saffron clothes for distorting truth, but he doesn’t care and in his relentless effort to set the things right and I think a lot many people are beginning to see, things in the right perspective.
