The Rot Must Be Stemmed.
This article was written in response to a post by Krishna Balu Iyyer on Face Book. He had reacted to the adamancy of Kunal Kamra who is stand up comedian who recently gained certain notoriety when he tried to heckle Arnab Goswami over the issues he raises on his Network channel.
The incident happened in January this year. This time this man has tried to lower the dignity of the Supreme Court and the honourable judges by posting some tweets. He is angered because it has slammed the Maharashtra government for wrongful arraignment of Arnab Goswami and it’s attempt to suppress his rantings against its decisions and policies. This rot needs to be stemmed or it will grow like “Congress Grass” Hahaha and I have every reason to believe that it has the blessings of the dynasty. The Congress of baboons around the Mama San makes her believe that irrespective of who is in the chair, she is the boss. Can you show me one picture where she is bowing to the chair in deference? What to speak of Maun Mohan Singh, whom the nation will never pardon for lowering the dignity of the august office, she never even bowed to Pranab Mukharjee, when he was the President. That is the culture of arrogance in that family and it has been more obdurately on display ever since BJP has come to power. The Raj legacy has been carried on by Congress for the last seven decades and they believe that they alone are entitled to “Raj” over the Indians who after centuries of subjugation have lost their self-esteem. So, if not the British then at least their descendants, the anglicized, cross-bred, mulattoes should rule. But Modi changed it all after coming in power. Ever since his elevation and his revivalism of pride in our five thousand years old culture, this reawakening of the people hasn’t gone too well with these duteous minions of the Raj. So, they have been finding one way or the other to make it ‘hot’ for the seat they think he doesn’t deserve. That’s why first it was an award wapsi parade by some buffoons and then we saw some other subservient agents ganging up to show concern over so called Rising Intolerance, just because Hindus had started questioning the proselytizations and slow conversions of unsuspecting people using coersions, trickery and bribe.
Then another attempt was made when the Modi government brought in CAA and NRC, by enacting dharna at Shaheen Bagh and trying to recreate it at other major cities in India. Mr. Modi’s comment on this experiment was very apt when he said during his speech while campaigning for BJP for the assembly election on February 8th this year at Delhi:-
“Seelampur ho, Jamia ho ya phir Shaheen Bagh, beete kayi dinon se Citizenship Amendment Bill ko lekar pradarshan hua. Kya ye pradarshan sirf ek sanyog hai? Ji nahi, ye sanyog nahi, ye ek prayog hai. Iske peeche rajneeti ka ek aisa design hai jo rashtra ke sauhard ko khandit karne ke iraade rakhta hai.”(“Be it Seelampur, Jamia or Shaheen Bagh, the past few days have seen protests against the Citizenship Amendment Bill. Are these protests merely a coincidence? No, this is an experiment. Behind this is a political design which intends to destroy the amity of the country.”)

The main discomfort is with the Lutyens media which plays to the tunes of their foreign masters alright, but besides that it has a deep hatred for what I learnt when I got in the college are called HMT. I learnt that the acronym was an abbreviation for “Hindi Medium Type” a snigger for those who come from humbler backgrounds (those whose parents couldn’t afford to send them to English Medium or Convent schools because of the high fees). This Lutyens media runs a counter narrative to play down the achievements of the Modi Government and spares no chance to spew hatred, it flashes images that can escalate tensions resulting in conflagrations and riots. They have a big control over both visual and print media. They act as the champions of the minority, read Muslims and Dalits, but at heart they are seething with anger for having been relegated to a corner of Indian polity as people of little or no consequence.
Some channels are neutral but Arnab Goswami and his Republic TV are aggressive in exposing their dual standards and that’s why he is hated by them all. In a healthy democracy, everyone is free to express his/her views. One can criticize the government but it should have a limit. At least judiciary should not be dragged in to it and perhaps that’s why the constitution insulated it by providing a tool of “Contempt” to the judges, but recently, we have seen it being toyed with to experiment to find how much leeway can be enjoyed. Earlier in the history of independent India before the installation of BJP rule, one can’t find an instance where such an attempt was made but a senior advocate Mr. Prashant Bhushan who calls himself as the champion of the minorities tried it sometime ago for which he was asked to apologize from the honorable court and he refused to that. He was hauled by the honorable courts but was let off with a wrap on the knuckle. Now this joker thinks that he could do a Prashant Bushan on the Supreme Court with his antics. He makes people laugh I heard, though I haven’t yet seen his shows to know if he knows of the difference between satire and sarcasm that an artist should in his performance maintain. It seems to me that he has had his last laugh.

I would say that no matter how lenient view the courts of this country which is truly democratic in spirit, may take, people like him must be put behind bars to show that obnoxiousness will not be tolerated in the name of free speech.
I do agree 100% with Shree Ramarao..
This fellow will be put behind the bars soon!!!
As I mentioned in the Facebook, this joker will face the wrath of the SC soon. When he spends not less than six months behind bars he will realize the SC is not a joker, but he himself is a joker of the worst species. Just wait and watch.
Yes Sir, Maintaining the dignity of the court is very important. You can’t lampoon the judges and mock at the judicial system. If it is not stopped now, every Tom Dick and Harry will start ridiculing the judiciary now.
