The advisory issued by the Indian Embassy in Poland asks Indians in Lviv, Ternopil and other places in western Ukraine to travel at the earliest to Budomierz border check-point to enter Poland quickly.

The Embassy has deployed officials at Medyka and Budomierz border check-points to receive all evacuees and facilitate their travel to India.
“About 1,000 people, including 700 Indians, are marching towards the railway station holding the Indian flag. They are going to the railway station, which is seven kilometres from their bunker, by walk as no vehicles are available,” Venkatesh Vaishyar told PTI.
Venkatesh’s son Amit V Vaishyar (23) is a fifth-year medical student in Kharkiv Medical College. He is among three students from Chalageri in Ranebennur taluk of Haveri in Karnataka studying MBBS in Kharkiv Medical College.
Amit’s cousin Suman (24), son of Sridhar Murthy Vaishyar, also of Haveri Karnataka is also a student there and both of them are trying to return from the strife-torn country.
On Tuesday, their junior 22-year-old Naveen Shekarappa Gyanagouda of Karnataka was killed in a shelling when he moved out of the bunker to fetch some food, water and exchange currency.
“Students have no option but to take the risk as they don’t have food and water. They are relying on God now and walking towards the railway station,” Venkatesh Vaishyar said.

Really powerful country like Russia will never allow other countries to interfere. But killing like war. Is not fare. I am like a layman wish Russia should stop war and adopt some other way to create peace.i hope Suresh ji you agree with me. Sabita Comment

I agree; there is no need to kill innocent civilians. However in wars fought far away from home collateral damages occur. In my view, it is time to call a ceasefire; India and China could perhaps influence Russia on this.
Both Russia and Ukraine are probably looking for a face-saving intervention.
Perhaps a regime change in Ukraine could be negotiated.
From what I read on the dispute, Russia is not against democratically elected Ukraine as its ally in that part of the region.
