Worsening Health is reported to be the reason for the resignation. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has battled the disease ulcerative colitis for years and two recent hospital visits within a week fanned questions on whether he could stay in the job.

At this moment, it is difficult to make out, how will it impact the international relations of Japan with others. He has been a longest serving PM of Japan. Little is known about Japan’s internal political rivalry but they are unified in their national spirit. They all visit Yasukuni Shrine to pay homage to those who died in service of Japan and it also sends a message to the world that Japan doesn’t regret what is seen as war crimes of WW-II era for which China and Korea seek apology from her.
