EX MAYOR OF KARACHI LAMBASTS THE OWAISI BROTHERS

EX MAYOR OF KARACHI LAMBASTS THE OWAISI BROTHERS

V.S.Gopalakrishnan Ph.D., IAS Retd.

11 Aug 2020

It must be recognized that in Pakistan there are certainly many sane and reasonable persons who would seem to show a pro-India stance on several matters in our current affairs. They speak against the illogical and emotional stand taken by Muslim leaders and clergy in India who mislead and misguide their Muslim followers and spread hatred against the Hindus and the ruling Central Government. Mr.Tarak Fateh of Pakistani extraction who is settled in Canada, is a vociferous condemner of the Pakistani Government and the Pakistani leaders who spread anti India hate for no sound reasons, and by now he is well-known in India, and there are many, many YouTube videos available in which his views are to be found. He is a pro-India intellectual who is not afraid of any attack on him by Pakistani hoodlums that would cost him his life. The readers are recommended to watch some of those videos.

Much less well -known than Mr.Tarak Fateh is the ex-mayor of Karachi, Mr. Arif Azakia who is critical of the Pakistani establishment for their anti-India attitude. He equally condemns the Muslim leaders in India for spreading unreasonable hatred against the Hindus. A YouTube search under his name will throw up many videos which can be watched. The following is one such video which is well worth watching.

Mr.Arif Azakia riles against the Owaisi brothers of Hyderabad –he pronounces their name as Awaisi – for unreasonably attacking the construction of the Ayodhya temple and misleading their followers. “You shameless brothers. Should you not tell the Indian Muslims that the Babri masjid was constructed by destroying a temple?”

He adds: “You shameless fellows. Why don’t  you recognize and tell your followers that your ancestors destroyed thousands of temples in India? The Ayodhya temple is just one tiny correction of the enormous wrongs committed on the Hindus”.

Mr.Arif Azakia further says that the Hindus are the most tolerant in this world. The Owaisi brothers would have been put in a concentration camp if they were to be living in China. The Owaisi brothers are not fit to be true muslims, he says.

This video is worth being watched a couple of times in order to fully grasp every sentence that Mr.Arif Azakia speaks.  In the same breath, he highly condemns the unprincipled leaders and Government of Pakistan.

Let the tribe of Azakias multiply like mushrooms in Pakistan in order to bring sanity to the muslims of India and Pakistan.
