A Slice of Sun

Slice of Sun

A slice of Sun through my window
magnificent and warm
cheerful and healing
Giving special meaning to life
Loneliness and sadness walk out
rustling on the wings of warm air

A slice of moon through my window
romantic and mysterious
soothing and radiant
giving a special mood to the night
jasmine fragrance creeps in
riding the wings of cool breeze

Open the window of my mind
welcome a slice of the Sun
welcome a slice of the moon
Jungle of wild thoughts is cleared
A new me is born
standing tall and shining bright

So true, the moment you turn your thoughts to the beauteous nature, all sadness- as you said, Jungle of wild thoughts- leave you instantly and your heart is filled with immense joy.
